Wild Artic...

OK, so the Wild Artic exhibit was probably the coolest, no pun intended, exhibit. It was set up like an Antarctic Research facility. You could either walk to the facility or ride a "helicopter". The line for the helicopter was way to long, so the walk and the movie was our choice. This exhibit had Beluga wales, polar bears and walruses (huge). We did get an extra perk at this exhibit. We got to see the whales "kissing" as Tucker would say. He said they were married....get it. Yes we almost saw a baby in the making. But.... only at SeaWorld would you get to see such a wonder....I guess???

S H A M U ....need I say more???

Ok, so remember me saying how the foreigners were rude? Well, I got my foreign on for the Shamu show. Rich wanted to be right at the front. So when they let us in, I grabbed Trenton and we pushed through the crowd and got right in the front. I mean RIGHT IN THE FRONT. We were the 3rd row, they were not letting anyone sit in the first 2 rows. When Shamu jumped up, we could almost touch him. He is HUGE! It was awesome though. This show really gets you choked up . I have no idea why. I guess the true majesty of this animal, and the just being there witnessing something that not all people will witness, really gets to you. I think there needs to be a t-shirt that says, I saw God's majesty in Shamu.....I would buy it!

Look at all the animals!

SeaWorld has tons of things to look at about animals and their habitats. SeaWorld's mission is the "Believe to make a difference".Animals are amazing! It is an awesome thing SeaWorld is doing. The turtle pictured here was attacked by a shark and is missing a fin. In the open water this turtle probably would have been dinner for some animal. SeaWorld was called and brought the turtle in and rehabilitated him and now he has a safe home here at SeaWorld. I sound like I should be on the payroll!

Shark attack!!!

Off to see The Shark Adventure. You get to walk under this huge tank with all these sharks swimming over you. WHOA! They have alot of teeth! No wonder they are one of the ocean's top predators! Very cool, Tucker and Trenton learned alot about sharks and their history.

Where to next?

Trenton wanted to be the director. Where do we go next? Where is the nearest bathroom? Where can we get a drink? Where is the exit?

Birth announcement!

Two days before we got to SeaWorld, one of the momma dolphins had a baby. Again, SO CUTE! He was so fast, I had a hard time taking a picture of him. He swam so close to his momma. How cute is this little guy....wonder if you can get one of these at the gift shop to take home???

Seymour and Clyde's Pirate Adventure.

The first show we saw was Seymore and Clyde's Pirate Adventure. Oh sealions arfe SO cute and very smart! Trenton was not very happy, we sat int he sun and he was sweating, so I do not think this set the tone for a very good time....but we did enjoy the show! Look at that walrus.....holy cow he was big. No wonder they call them sea cows....H U G E!
