What were the kids doing????

So....you ask what the boys were doing since mom and dad were down and they were feeling better? I will let the pictures tell you. Taking pictures of their sick parents and apparently not picking up their room! Those two little boys are stink weeds!

Merry Christmas!

Just because Mom and Dad were down, Santa still came to town. Thank Goodness for the fat man. The boys had a great Christmas. Tucker got all of his Star Wars figures he wanted and Trenton got the Ultimate Dragonoid. We missed Grandma and Grandpa, but were glad they missed the elf that gave the funk to us! We are looking forward to Christmas 2010....just in case you wanted to know 360 days to go. We will never again wish for a Christmas just the 4 of us....be careful what you wish for. God works in mysterious ways. He always shows us what we are to be thankful for. This lesson was to love your family and cherish them while you have them. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve!

We usually have a Christmas Eve party at our house, with an abundance of finger foods....this was the party. Ramen noodles and chicken nuggets. At least the kids had smiles on their face!

Holiday whobie whatie????

This has been the crappiest Christmas in the history of the Gharing family! I have no idea when these pictures were taken. I think maybe the Monday before Christmas. Day 8-12 went down the pooper. Here are some photos of the before IT happens!

Karley loves peanut butter!

Karles loves peanut butter. I think that was the hot ingredient this year. She was all about cookies this year. She actually stole 3 off the cooling table. Little *&^%^, but I could not blame her....all of them are wonderful!

Cookies.....done

Well..... all the cookies are done. Mark them off the to do list. After 6 hours, 2 bags of sugar and 4 large jars of peanut butter, we have marked the list done. Rich and I had a great time. This is the day that we laugh and joke and have a wonderful time. Tucker got into helping this year. He helped with cookies, but then he decided that playing Spiderman would be more fun. Santa, we are ready when you are!

Seven swans a swimming...

Wow! Can you believe that there is only 5 more days till Christmas! I cannot believe it will be here soon!

Bake day aka dimple on the butt day!

It is finally here....the great bake off. Today is the day that Rich and I bake until our backs are aching and our feet hurt. Does the table not look like it would add about 50 pounds? Good lord, look at all that peanut butter. Yum, Karley and my favorite.

Hey Santa Claus!

The boys got to go see Santa last night. This is not the best picture, but "for the safety of their elves, please refrain from taking photos". In other words, no freebies you got to buy picture from us! The boys had a good time, looking at themselves in the "fat" mirror. They had a good time and got to tell Santa EVERYTHING they wanted!

Six ladies dancing....

Out of all the Christmas balls, I think this is the ugliest one. She has something sticking out of her head.

Five golden rings!!!

Ok...I missed a day, but I think this picture is worth the wait. That is all I am going to say!

Just in case you are asked tomorrow....

Just in case you needed to know how many days until Santa comes.....it is 9 whole days!

Random Pictures from our house to yours...

My wonderful hubby, trying to sleep in the chaos we call home...

This is the first manger scene that Rich an I bought when we first got married. I just love the look on Mary' s face.

Our card wreath is looking a little low this year on the cards.....maybe I need to send out mine and then we will get ours.

I love Christmas cards, they make me smile every time we get one. Happy holidays to you all!

Four Calling Birds....

What is exactly a calling bird? Is this like a mockingbird? Another day closer to our Saviors birth. Christmas is such a magical time. The devils around you want to bring your holiday cheer down, but with the anticipation of Jesus coming it is hard to get down. Dear Lord, help me stay on the wings and glide through this holiday season with a smile on my face!!!

R.I.P Mr. Snowman

Karley is smarter than we think. She found her Christmas present and.....molested it. He was a nice old snowman, R.I.P Mr. Snowman, it was nice knowing you for the 2 days we had you!

Three French hens....

Birds....again.

Edible Cell.....

Apparently, Trenton's science teacher was never told there were starving people in China. He had to do an edible cell project for his grade this six weeks. A cabbage, fruit roll up, peach jelly, broccoli, tomatillo and cookie sparkles made it work. I hope it smells up her class, maybe she will think twice about not having them draw it on a poster board.

Two turtle doves...

Here is day two. Two turtle doves. Better gift from your true love. I can see the significance of it, but man he already gave me a partridge....ANOTHER bird??? Gift cards are always nice.....

Random pictures....

Since Trenton was not in the program, we sat there taking funny pictures. Keeping him and his mom's attention before the production. That is Granny and April and the helmet is my mom!

Hey Santa Claus!

Here is how Rich went to the program.....That is a Santa hat on his head. Tucker said it best, he looks like a drunk guy!

Enter Donkey stage left...

So.... today was the big production of 'They saw him first". The Advent Christmas children's program. Tuckman aka Donkey, did a great job! Saturday they went to Broadmore Nursing Home and performed for the residents there. Tucker was Donkey, Caden was a baaaad sheep and Amerly was the baaad sheep leader. They did a great job! So Sweet!

A Partridge in a Pear tree

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me....a partridge in a pear tree. What a crappy gift! Thanks to my mother in law we have these cool tree bulbs that have each verse on it. So for the next 12 days it will be Christmas everyday! Enjoy!!
