What's going on????

I am a terrible person....I have not been on Facebook or our blog in a while. I have missed so much to pass on. I will try to catch you up. First and for most, Happy Belated birthday to my mom in law on St. Patricks Day. We will be celebrating her birthday when they come down later in the week. Sorry I missed your day.....Rich installed a dishwasher for me. In the words of Mr. T, I pity the fool who gets that thing! The boys were on spring break last week. I was very cold and rainy. This week is suppose to much nicer, hopefully for Easter. We mowed the grass on Saturday and worked in the yard all day. I will have to post pictures later. Today Karley turns 1 year old. She is 7 in woof years. To celebrate she peed in the living room. She has not done that in 4 months. She must know we have company coming. Well hope all is well, will try to do better in the next weeks and days to come! my new best friend....
A dear friend that has let me down the last couple of years....nothing like disappointment..

Report Card day!

Report card day was today. The both did good. Trenton needs to bring his language art grade up. Other than that they both did a great job! No fighting or crying tonight

What is next???

The next project HAS GOT TO BE DONE! The last time this room was painted is when we had Tucker, almost 8 years and moved the boys into the big room. This room is a hodge podge of things. The closet holds all my Sunday school supplies, material and pretty much just junk. I am going to do something I have never done in this room. The bottom with be, sad to say, the same color of the living room. ( I like that color and we have a whole gallon of paint) the top color will be a golden color. I am hoping to find a nice, non these border to go around the middle. I will have to find a new comforter. I am thinking like an off white quilt. I would love to have roosters in here, of course, but not to many. The lamp is already there. Hopefully this job will be tackled on March 13th. Not sure though. I want to have it done by the time the out laws....I mean in-laws get here. Keep your fingers crossed!
Here is what we, or I should say Rich, has been doing. He has been Mr. Fix-it, or DutchBoy whatever you want to call him. I love it so much! This is the hallway bathroom. It is the same color as the living room, but they both flow into one another We added the border because, well, I liked it and I thought it looked very grown up.Rich framed the mirror out. That always does so much for a cheapo mirror that came with the house.

This is the hallway that you can either go to our room, the boys
room or the hallway bathroom. We had the DVD case there but wow this looks a lot better!

Our fabulous faux fireplace. I I need to take the winter greenery off, but the weather still feels wintry so right now it stays!

Here is the big picture of the living room. I think it makes the room look so elegant. I LoVe It! This will be one of those colors that will stick around for a while! :)

Kung Food!

Well Saturday we decided that we would have a Kung Fu , Chinese food eating, chopstick using, fortune cookie telling sleepover. We had egg rolls, beef and broccoli, Chicken Chow Mien, Sweet and Sour Chicken. We even had fortune cookies and chopsticks to TRY to use. It was so much fun. I understand why the Chinese is so skinny. It took a lot of patience to get enough food on them to fill your face. It was fun though. Trenton was really trying to get his chicken on those things and in his mouth. It worked though
Tucker was trying decide what the best way to hold these things. He did not want anyone to learn before he did;

Trenton again really trying. I am telling you they are hard to do!

Well the "fun" always comes to an end. I believe this picture tells that story :)

Tucker doing his samurai pose, apparently we are boring Karley to death. She just wants what is left over!

Well,,,Karley became a women...:/

Karley could not wait 2 weeks until we got our income tax return so we could get her ....fixed. She had her own time She looks like she is getting ready to go out on the beach. She needs glasses and her ensemble would be perfect. Thank God she is finished with this part. She does not have to wear she city dog jeans anymore but is still not allowed on the furniture of beds.Just in case. She is suppose to have her surgery on March 18Th. I hope it all works out and she will be fine and better than new when she comes home!

Our Splurge...

Well Rich finally got his TV he has been wanting for the last 4 years. Bless his heart he was like a kid in the candy shop picking it out. It felt nice that he could go and get it and bring it home with us, not just looking at it and then leave or looking it up on line. I do not think we have watched this much TV in a while. We love it. We painted the walls and cut the entertainment center in half. We are so the Redneck Martha Show! It does make the room look so different. This weekend we are putting a new clearance fan up in the living room. Rich found a 290.00 fan for 60.00. It is missing the globes, but we can find something to go up.
